Use the agent.io domain for Agent IO.
According to whatsmydns.net, I registered this domain in June 2009, which as I recall, was in a slow moment at WWDC. I had a few different uses in mind for it over the years, but it mostly sat idle until 2024 when I started using it for this project.
Pros#
- It’s brief and easy to remember.
- I also had GitHub and DockerHub organizations that I could reactivate and start using.
- “Agent” and “IO” have good associations with the project goals.
Cons#
- There is a lot of noise right now about “AI Agents” and we’re not directly related to that. In fact, it’s a bit concerning that “agent” is now more associated with hype than substance.
